Working in partnership with educational institutions
CLV opened its first village at the University of Sydney in 2003. Since then, CLV has experienced significant national growth, demonstrating the capability and credibility of its operational and development expertise.
CLV currently works in partnership with 12 educational institutions in Australia, and owns, manages or is developing over 7,900 beds* at metropolitan and regional locations in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. As well as working with universities, in 2009 CLV entered its first partnership with a TAFE body at the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE with a management contract for 149 beds.
The Australian portfolio consists of a diverse range of owned and managed sites, located predominantly on campus.
CLV focuses on developing high-quality, contemporary, self-catered accommodation with sustainable design features tailored specifically to each village’s local environment.
Facilities are designed to maximise the resident experience, with central communal areas, sport and entertainment areas, study centres and spaces for village events at all sites.
At the end of 2008, CLV officially launched its summer group accommodation product, recently rebranded Campus Summer Stays**. Campus Summer Stays offers travellers and groups a unique concept in affordable accommodation when residents depart for the summer holiday.
