Campus Living Villages established a presence in the UK in late 2008 and announced its first project with a UK University in December of that year. The business took on management of 1,400 student residences in four accommodation buildings in partnership with the University of Salford.
In October 2009, CLV completed a £2.5million refurbishment programme of two of the accommodation buildings at Salford, transforming communal spaces and creating innovative study and social facilities.
In July 2010, CLV was awarded a £40million contract to design, build, operate and finance an 853-bed en suite student accommodation facility at the University of Bedfordshire's Luton campus. The contract is also to manage the existing stock of University student accommodation in the town, amounting to 1,049 study bedrooms.
