Fitzroy Court's fully ensuite accommodation at the Student Village, University of Bedfordshire offers a range of standard, deluxe and studio rooms. The new accommodation comprises extensive communal areas including quiet study rooms, active recreational areas and a fully equipped gym.
CLV operates the facility under a 35-year Strategic Partnering Agreement with the University, and includes within its operational brief the management of 993 rooms of University-owned accommodation. CLV has delivered 579 new beds for the 2011/12 academic year. A further 274 will be added to the Village when phase two is completed in September 2012. The CLV development forms part of the University’s £150 million transformation project at the Luton campus.
Leading global construction consultant, Davis Langdon is CLV’s development partner, while Kier International, a well regarded global civil engineering company, will be delivering the project on a fixed price turnkey basis.
