In September 2013, CLV expanded its UK business with the creation of Bournemouth University Village. The company acquired 704 beds at three newly built student accommodation blocks at the University’s Lansdowne Campus: Chesil House, Lyme Regis House and Okeford House.
The three buildings were leased to CLV for 35 years through an agreement with M&G Investments and have since undergone major refurbishment as part of the company’s commitment to improving the living environment of its residents.
The two year maintenance and renovation programme – to rework social areas – began in the summer of 2014. Completed to schedule, amenities include a cinema room, gaming station, a demonstration and private dining kitchen, and group study facilities.
CLV’s close partnership with Bournemouth University was integral to the project, with both sides collaborating to deliver a rewarding and nurturing living experience in all three residences.
