On 1 March 2017, Vice-Chancellors, senior university executives and government figures visited Parliament Hall, Canberra, for a prestigious industry dinner hosted by Universities Australia, the nation’s peak body representing the university sector.

As a long-standing sponsor of the Universities Australia Higher Education Conference, and sole sponsor of the 2017 Conference Dinner, this was CLV’s chance to shine.

In a thank you message, dinner MC, Rachel Perkins commented, “With a portfolio of more than 43,000 beds in six countries, CLV has earned a solid reputation for operating quality, safe, and affordable student accommodation facilities.”

“Over the past two years, they have been awarded by AACUHO and the Australian Marketing Institute for enhancing the student experience through their V1 – First Year Uni program and their Customer Contact Village student support centre. We are very pleased to have them as our dinner sponsor again in 2017.”

CLV’s branding was strongly presented throughout the hall, from logo positioning on the main stage screen, lecturn, entry points, menus and conference program, to double-sided A frames promoting CLV’s awards on each of the 60 tables.

Attendees provided excellent feedback, highlighting the value of the networking opportunities and brand presence that CLV received as sole event sponsor.

“Overall the event was a very high value, cost effective sponsorship. Great feedback was received from CLV attendees who had the opportunity to network with key partners and establish opportunities for further growth,” said Michael Heffernan, CEO of CLV in Australia and New Zealand.

“CLV was extremely pleased with the result of the conference and has verbally confirmed a position as dinner sponsor in 2018,” he said.

CLV’s is looking forward to continuing to develop it’s strong relationship with Universities Australia and the universities it represents through sponsorship of the Higher Education Conference.
