The CLVnz Bake-off!
The CLVNZ support office held the inaugural CLVNZ Bake-off to showcase the baking skills of the team.
The competition was fierce with ten dishes being presented to the four strong judging panel, each dish was rated on three aspects out of five – taste, presentation and difficulty, giving a total possible score of fifteen.
After much deliberation and taste testing the judges awarded first equal to Jeremy Ross and Amanda Dempsey with a top score of 12.5, these two gain the prestigious honour of being the first to hold the title of CLVNZ (Support Office Edition’s) greatest bakers.
The team is now looking forward to the next challenge!
Hannah raises awareness (and funds) in Peru
Our very own Hannah Martin just recently spent four days hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, all in aid of raising awareness and money for Motor Neurone Disease. The trek reached a height of 4215m above sea level, with Inca remains and wildlife along the way.
“It was challenging in parts but absolutely incredible with amazing scenery.”
Hannah raised over $6,500, contributing to a group total of over $35,000. Hannah would like to send a huge thank you to all the staff at CLV who supported her and the charity – a big shout in particular to Raj Chandramouli and the RMIT Village team. Well done Hannah!
Lauren takes on the Great Wall of China
In another feat of stamina, Lauren Storey from AU head office ran the Great Wall Marathon on the 19th May. Lauren successfully ran the 42km track along the Great Wall of China and has the photos to prove it – go Lauren!
“Amazing, mind-blowing, just BRUTAL… Hills, hills, hills and more hills, what an experience. The streets were lined with supporters… just lots of high-fives!”
