One of the key areas that we are focusing on is how we develop processes and procedures across the business.
We need to update everyone on how we do this and what steps need to be followed in order to ensure all processes are defined correctly through the correct technical experts, documented using the standard documentation format, stored centrally for ease of access and most importantly, communicated and trained to the people they affect.
Whilst we do not want to stifle creativity and all the great stuff that’s going on in the business, we need to make sure we follow a standardized approach. Therefore, with immediate effect, all production of processes, procedures and policies needs to be directed through the Business Improvement team.
We are NOT the technical experts of your function, therefore your input will be imperative. If you do identify a new or more efficient way to carry out tasks or are planning a change to how your function operates, simply get in touch with BI, and we will ensure that we facilitate these changes in collaboration with your function’s technical process expert.
