Over the past few weeks, you may have noticed alerts popping up on your computer or running along the bottom of your screen. These are from SnapComms, CLV’s new global messaging tool, designed to provide access to important business notifications in an unobtrusive way.
As these are messages that would normally be sent straight to your inbox, you may also have noticed a reduction in the number of emails you’ve received.
“SnapComms is an important way for CLV to communicate to staff. It is designed to reduce our reliance on email and ensure messages reach staff across the business, whether you are at your desk, working on your laptop or via your mobile device,” said Justine Cooper, Global Head of Marketing.
“It is also an important part of our crisis communication plan. If there is an emergency and we need to send out an alert, SnapComms allows us to reach you on multiple devices whether you are at your desk or out and about.”
“To ensure you are able to receive important alerts on the go, please download the SnapComms app to your mobile,” said Justine.
Download and installation instructions for Apple, Android and Windows phones can be found here.
If you are not seeing SnapComms alerts on your desktop or laptop, please email ICT at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
