Strategy & Planning  

> Working with Village Management, on the basis of the analysis collected on supply and demand at each location, make recommendations on residential rates and occupancy budgets as part of the Annual Budget process.

> Working with the VP, Operations help develop sales and marketing strategies to support the core business revenue strategy employed at each village.

> Working with Village Management, help prepare the annual Marketing & Sales Plan for each village.

> Advise on the efficiency of the systems used to monitor Village revenue performance.

> Actively participate in the weekly Sales meetings held during leasing cycles, identifying potential issues early and recommending changes to marketing and sales strategies to deliver the core business revenue performance.

Data Analysis  

> Undertake a detailed analysis of the supply of student accommodation (whether built, under construction, or in planning submission stage) on and around locations where CLVus has operations.

> In consultation with our tertiary partners, analyze key inputs impacting demand for student accommodation including tertiary institution enrollments trends, future forecasts, and the potential impact of the institution’s Strategic Plan.

> Analyze the demographic details of the institutions, both historic and future forecasts, considering country of origin, year of study, school leaver or mature age enrollments etc.

> Undertake and/or manage the gathering of additional market research (including focus groups, surveys etc) to ascertain student’s preferences for student accommodation and current living arrangements.

> Research national data on student enrollments and current availability of purpose built student accommodation.

> Develop and maintain an understanding of the key issues in higher education in the US (including the impact of government policy), including attending higher education conferences and subscribing to higher education publications.


> Utilize the centralized StarRez database and create automated reports/ dashboards that articulate revenue position and forecast effectively to senior management.

> Attend and present at company conferences as requested.

 Relationship Management  

> Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant tertiary institution staff.

> Develop and maintain effective relationships with market research consultants.

 Legal and Compliance  

> Be fully knowledgeable regarding the Village Lease Agreements, Village Community Policies, and applicable Village Lease Addendums.


> All other reasonable duties from time to time as directed by the VP, Operations.

> Proactively participate in CLV business-wide initiatives, as agreed with the VP, Operations.
