Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a part time cleaner to join our existing team at our Bagot Street Student Village in Birmingham.

What you will be doing:

• Cleaning of general, social and accommodation areas (including toilets and bathrooms)
• Housekeeping of hotel style bedrooms
• Partaking in regular site inspections
• Provide support, assistance and cover for the village team as and when required

What you’ll need:

• A cheerful disposition with a can do attitude
• An eye for detail and high personal and work standards
• A reasonable level of physical fitness and experience of safe manual handling practices
• The successful applicant will undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.

It would be ideal if you have:

• Basic knowledge and experience of cleaning methods and systems
• Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Basic knowledge of working with computers

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication skills, take pride in your work and a willingness to work hard in order to provide quality service to Bagot Street Student Village in Birmingham.
