Who are we looking for?
An opportunity has arisen at Bonington Student Village for a passionate hospitality professional to join our small and friendly team at the Student Village, set in the tranquil Sutton Bonington Campus of the University of Nottingham.
What does the role involve?
Possessing a cheerful disposition with a can do attitude, you are a natural in building rapport with people at any level and can demonstrate successes in improving and developing a customer orientated product. You are of an outgoing nature with heaps of energy and enthusiasm visible to all which drives your attention to detail and high standards of work.
In this role you are a real organiser and don’t shy away from getting stuck right in with the day to day operations. You love leading and motivating a team and are proactive to support and influence stakeholders to your business. You will be driving occupancy and revenue of your student bedrooms, whilst ensuring the operation is run safely and efficiently to exceed student and University expectations to meet both budgets and objectives. Your role requires you to manage your daily business automatously whilst being supported by central functions to achieve your objectives.
What do you need to have?
Ideally you will have had previous experience of working in the educational sector, and you must have managed budgets, contractors and interacted with support departments.

You will have at least 5 years of experience in managing the operations of a residential facility or led a substantial facilities management contract.
