We have extended our partnership with the University of St Andrews following our success in a competitive tender process to become named the University’s exclusive Student Accommodation Development Partner. The relationship has gone from strength-to-strength since it began in 2014, when we won the tender to add to the University’s accommodation at the Fife Park development, becoming the only significant outsource partner the University has selected in its 600 year history.

The first phase of the two-stage expansion at the Fife Park accommodation site, nine blocks comprising ensuite, non-ensuite and studio rooms, was successfully delivered for students to move in during September 2015. August 2016 saw us agree the contract to deliver the second part of this major development. The second part of the deal will see a further 196 rooms, with the same mix of room types across five blocks, delivered in September 2017.

Close collaboration between the University and our company has meant that the prestigious institution has benefited from our global expertise in student accommodation and experience that we provide, whilst retaining its own operational team onsite.

We will lead the development of a number of projects, including the addition of rooms at both the University Hall and Agnes Blackadder sites (420 beds), as well as a flagship redevelopment of the University’s beachfront Albany Park site (700 – 1,000 beds) over the next five years.

Rich Gabelich, CEO for Campus Living Villages said: “We are delighted to have been named the University of St. Andrews’ Development Partner further cementing our partnership with a leading and world renowned university. I believe our existing success with the University and our ability to demonstrate our global credentials throughout the procurement process secured us this prestigious position. As a business we have the experience to deliver the best in student accommodation and look forward to continuing to put this into practice.”

Ben Stuart, Director of Residential and Business Services at University of St Andrews said: “Campus Living Villages has a reputation for excellence, the Fife Park development that has already been successfully delivered is testament to this. It was important for us to find a partner with truly global credentials, who we feel confident can fulfil our long-term strategy for student residences, we believe we have found this partner in Campus Living Villages. “
