CLV’s V1 First Year Uni program has been making waves! After winning the AACUHO (Australasian Association of College and University Housing Officers) Housing Operator of the Year Award in April, V1 helped CLV take out the NSW AMI (Australian Marketing Institute) Marketing Excellence Award this month.
CLV was announced as a national finalist in October – up against big household brands such as Isuzu and Weet-Bix/Sanitarium – before taking out the competitive state award in the New Brand, Product and Service category.
The Marketing Excellence Awards are designed to recognise organisations and marketers who achieve extraordinary success from innovative and effective marketing practices.
“Being chosen as a state winner and national finalist among these big-name brands is a testament to the dedication and skill of CLV and our team,” said Global Head of Marketing, Shannon O’Connor.
“Griffith University Village has done an excellent job pioneering the V1 program, taking it from an idea to a fully-fledged, award-winning product in just two years. It is now a product that is being rolled out at selected sites across our global portfolio and one that will give CLV a distinct edge over its competitors when it comes to the student experience.”
The V1 program was launched at Griffith University Village in 2014. After two years of ongoing improvement and development, the program will be deployed in 2016 at Murdoch University Village and Western Sydney University Village sites in Australia.
V1 has also crossed the Tasman and will be making its debut at UCA Student Village in New Zealand next year.
