Melanie joined CLV in February 2016 and works closely with the New Zealand team in implementing HR strategies and practices that support the development of the business, as well as enabling managers to provide a great working environment for our people.
With more than 18 years’ HR experience in leading edge corporates in the banking and energy industries in New Zealand and the UK, Melanie has held senior HR roles for many years coaching and advising leadership teams. In her last role she provided HR consultancy, training and employment relations services to a wide variety of businesses on behalf of the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce.
Melanie is a chartered member of the internationally leading Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD, UK), and a member of the HR Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ). She holds post graduate diplomas in personnel & development from the CIPD and management studies from Nottingham Business School (UK), and a BSc honours from Southampton University (UK).
